ARTICLE XIII – COMMITTEES, Section 8 – Constitution and By-Laws Committee, states the C&B Committee is to study the C&B and make recommendations that will keep it adaptable to the growth and progress of the Church. Our initial study revealed that there are gaps in what we should be doing and what we are doing as a church. The C&B Committee is not sure whether we should be recommending proposed changes to the C&B or that the church needs to make changes consistent with the C&B. The C&B Committee is requesting that chairs/leads/co-leads of ministries and committees conduct initial reviews of the C&B, with particular emphases on their duties and responsibilities, and determine if changes are necessary. Members who are not chairs/leads/co-leads have the same right to review the C&B and determine if changes are necessary. After you complete your review by August 30th, send an email to cbl@firstmountzionbc.org only if you conclude changes are required, but do not send the actual changes. A member of the C&B Committee will contact you and give further guidance. In addition, further guidance from the C&B Committee to the membership is forthcoming. Point of contact is Bro.
