First Mount Zion Baptist Church invites the congregation, families, friends, and the surrounding community to four inspiring days of worship, preaching, praise, and spiritual renewal during the 2026 Church Revival, August 9–12.
Guided by the theme “Generation to Generation: Growing Together—One Lord. One Church. One Future,” the revival reflects the promise of Psalm 145:4: “One generation shall praise Your works to another, and shall declare Your mighty acts.”
The revival opens on Sunday, August 9, at 11:00 a.m. with Minister Micah W. Kay of First Baptist Church, Inc. of North Brentwood, Maryland. Minister Kay serves as a member of the church’s associate pastoral staff. First Baptist is a Bible-based, family-focused, multigenerational congregation committed to “impacting lives and growing disciples.”
Services continue Monday through Wednesday, August 10–12, at 7:30 p.m., featuring Rev. Dr. William H. Curtis, Senior Pastor of Mount Ararat Baptist Church in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Dr. Curtis has led Mount Ararat since 1997 and is recognized as a pastor, theological instructor, author, community leader, and ministry innovator. His books include Faith: Learning to Live Without Fear and Dressed for Victory: Putting on the Full Armor of God.
