Pastoral Election Voting Eligibility & Registration Deadline – August 19
As announced by the Pulpit Committee Chair on August 12:
Who Can Vote: All active members of First Mount Zion Baptist Church whose names are on the official membership roster are eligible to vote.
How to Vote: Members may choose one method—either:
-
Electronic Ballot via Simply Voting (requires a valid email address), or
-
In-Person Paper Ballot on Election Day.
You may not vote both electronically and in person.
Register for Electronic Voting:
If you wish to receive an electronic ballot, you must provide a valid email address no later than Monday, August 19, 2025.

Opting Out of Electronic Voting:
If you have already registered through Roll Call Refresh but now wish to vote in person only, please email the Pulpit Committee at pulpitcommittee@firstmountzionbc.org by August 19 with this statement:
“I no longer want to receive an electronic ballot to vote on our next Pastor. I recognize this means I will need to be present at the church on voting day to receive a paper ballot. I also recognize that I will not receive both an electronic and paper ballot.”
***Important: Requests to withdraw from electronic voting must be received by August 19, 2025.
